Coffee Morning Success!
Thank you to everyone who came along to our recent Coffee Morning. We were delighted to welcome Susan from the library, who shared information about the many opportunities available for children and families, including
Bookbug sessions, Lego Club, craft clubs and reading challenges. It was fantastic to hear that some of our children have already signed up for these activities as a result. Alongside enjoying juice, cookies and doughnuts, parents and carers had the chance to chat informally and find out more about the support and opportunities available in the community.
We look forward to seeing you at our next Coffee Morning on Friday 27th November at 11.30am, when our Educational Psychologist, Jed Flint, will join us to share information and advice around children's sleep.
Even if sleep is not a concern for your family, please come along for a coffee, tea, juice and a treat, and enjoy the opportunity to connect with other parents and carers in a relaxed and welcoming environment.
Head Lice Reminder
We are aware that head lice can occasionally make their way around school communities. Head lice are very common among primary-aged children and are nothing to be embarrassed about. They do not reflect a child's cleanliness or hygiene and can affect anyone.
We kindly ask parents and carers to check their child's hair regularly and, if live lice are found, to begin treatment promptly. Treatment products are available from pharmacies and, in many cases, can be provided free of charge through the Minor Ailments Service. Your local pharmacist will be happy to offer advice on suitable treatment options.
By working together and carrying out regular checks, we can help reduce the spread of head lice and keep everyone comfortable. Thank you for your support and cooperation.
Halloween Disco
Your child should have been given the Halloween leaflet in school. Please let us know if you require another copy.
Christmas Fair and Raffle Appeal
Our Christmas Fair will be held on Friday 4th December from 2.00pm to 4.00pm and we are once again asking for your support to help make the event a success.
We would be grateful for donations of new and unused gifts for our stalls and raffle, including toiletries, bottles of alcohol, jewellery, chocolates and sweets, gift sets, candles, beauty products, novelty items, books, games, toys, festive treats and unwanted gifts that are in excellent condition.
If you own a business and would be willing to donate a gift voucher or prize for our raffle, we would be extremely grateful for your support.
Additionally, if you run a crafting business and would be interested in having a stall at our Christmas Fair, this costs £30 per stall plus a raffle donation.
After School Clubs
Thank you to everyone who applied for one of our After School Clubs. We were delighted by the level of interest and appreciate your patience while applications are being processed.
We are currently finalising places and will confirm allocations as soon as possible. Please keep an eye on your emails for further information.

P6 Innovations Showcase
We are delighted to invite parents and carers of our P6 pupils to attend our P6 Innovations Showcase, where children will have the opportunity to share their learning and showcase their fantastic work.
This is a wonderful opportunity to see what your child has been learning and celebrate their achievements. The event will run from 9.00am - 10.00am, beginning with a short introduction at 9.00am, followed by time to wander around the Large Hall and corridor to view the children's work and speak to them about their projects.
P6A (Mr Scobie) - Friday 6th November
P6B (Mrs Smith & Miss Temple) -Friday 13th November
An email invitation will be sent directly to the relevant families. Other classes will also have the opportunity to visit and enjoy the exhibition.
We look forward to welcoming you and celebrating the creativity, innovation and hard work of our P6 pupils!
Courier Feedback
Thank you to everyone who took the time to share their views on the Carmondean Courier during our Parent/Carer Consultations. Please see the results attached to your email..
Based on your feedback, the Courier will continue on a weekly basis, with this being reviewed again next session. As always, we welcome your feedback and suggestions as we continue to improve communication with our families.
Digging In and Making A Difference!
A huge thank you to Mr Wyatt, one of our parents, who is generously giving up some of his free time to help tidy and improve our school entrance area. We are very grateful for his support.
If you could spare 30 minutes here and there to help with gardening or outdoor maintenance, we would love to hear from you. Please email the school office if you are able to lend a hand. Every little bit helps and is greatly appreciated!
